"My son read your book, which left him so much more enlightened about his
son Greg. His comment to me was "Greg kept jumping out at me from
almost every page and now I know I've been doing everything wrong." So
thanks for writing this wonderful book, it gives so much understanding
to parents of kids like Greg."

Carol Bushard's review
5 of 5 stars
bookshelves: special-education
"This book is written by C.G. Meloy, who was diagnosed with high functioning autism as a middle-aged adult. I loved the book and found it very interesting and easy to read. It helped me understand why people who have high functioning autism may be hard to engage in a relationship. C.G. Meloy writes with sincerity and humor."

someone translated "the mom factor" into dutch and quoted it on their website

they also translated "war of the worlds". since both of those sections are in the free sample at amazon, they might not even have bought the book. ha! with my hyper sense of frugality, i have to respect that, heh heh.

In
twee werelden moet ik bestaan. De eerste is mijn ‘kinderlijke’,
solitaire, autismewereld. De andere is mijn ‘volwassen’, sociale,
neuro-typische wereld.
bestaan.

comment from a reader
"I am half way through this book now, and it is so enlightening and
revealing. I can see my own "Aspie" jumping right off the pages!! It
is a terrific resource, and I plan to share a copy with Luke's teacher
as well as his school counselor!"

email from canada
"I work for an autism centre called
Dragonfly in New Brunswick, Canada, right on the border of Calais,
Maine. We operate a very specialized autism summer camp based on
music, art & movement therapies as well as a year round resource
centre for families in our area. One of our services is a lending
library of autism related books and material and I will be so happy to
add your book to our selection. Thank you so much for your first hand insight into the mystery of
autism. It will make a big difference in helping other people
understand and cope with this invisible challenge."
